• Give the t-shirt a wash and soak it in warm water with 2-3 tea-spoons of salt. Rinse the t-shirt and get rid of the excess water.
• Prepare a work station preferably outdoors or in your washroom (on a plastic sheet). Mix the dye powder with water and a little bit of salt (warm water recommended). The darkness of the color will depend on the amount of dye mixed.
• Fold your t-shirt using different dye techniques and use rubber bands to secure it. Let your imagination run wild with the different colours. Don't be afraid to make a mess, the result is going to be amazing.
• Secure the t-shirt in the plastic bag and keep it away from sunlight for a minimum of 6-8 hours. Thereafter, get a bucket, fll half of it with warm water and add the fixer to it. Put the t-shirt in the bucket and let it soak for 10 mintes. Finally, get the t-shirt out, rinse the excess water and leave it until dry.
